peer next-hop-invariable (BGP-VPNv4 subaddress family view)
Use peer next-hop-invariable to configure the device not to change the next hop of a route when
advertising it to a peer.
Use undo peer next-hop-invariable to restore the default.
Syntax
peer { group-name | ip-address } next-hop-invariable
undo peer { group-name | ip-address } next-hop-invariable
Default
A device uses its address as the next hop when advertising a route to its eBGP peer.

Parameters
group-name: Specifies the name of the peer group, a case-sensitive string of 1 to 47 characters.
ip-address: Specifies the IP address of the peer.
Usage guidelines
In the inter-AS option C application, you need to configure next-hop-invariable on the RR for multi-hop
eBGP neighbors and reflector clients to make sure that the next hop of a VPN route will not be changed.
