Parameters
number number: Specifies a mirroring number in the range of 1 to 64.
in: Mirrors only inbound packets.
out: Mirrors only outbound packets.
all: Mirrors both inbound and outbound packets.
to: Sends mirrored packets to a specific interface or IP address.
local-interface interface-type interface-number: Specifies an interface by its type and number, which
must be a Layer 2 or Layer 3 Ethernet interface.
mac: Specifies the destination MAC address of mirrored packets, in the format of H-H-H. When inputting
an MAC address, you can omit the leading zeros in each H section. For example, you can simply input
f-e2-1 for 000f-00e2-0001.
remote-ip ip-address: Specifies a remote IP address.
port port: Specifies a remote port. The default is 60000.
Usage guidelines
Only one mirroring entry can exist on a port.
Examples
# Mirror bidirectional traffic on interface Serial 2/0 to interface Ethernet 1/1, with 1234-5678-9000 as
the destination MAC of mirrored packets.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface serial 2/0
[Sysname-Serial2/0] mirror number 1 all to local-interface Ethernet 1/1 mac 1234-5678-9000
monitor-port
Use monitor-port to assign the current port to a local or remote destination group as the monitor port.
Use undo monitor-port to remove the current port from the mirroring group.
Syntax
[ mirroring-group group-id ] monitor-port
undo [ mirroring-group group-id ] monitor-port
Default
A port does not serve any mirroring group as the monitor port.
