Default command level
2: System level
Parameters
answer time: Timeout time in milliseconds of R2 answer signal, in the range of 100 to 120000 with a
default of 60000. After the originating side sends a seizure acknowledgement signal, the terminating
side should send back an answer signal within the timeout time. If the terminating side fails to send an
answer signal within the timeout time, the originating side will clear the connection. Timeout time of R2
answer signal should be configured at both the originating side and the terminating side. The timeout
time of answer signals from the terminating side is configured at the originating side, while the timeout
time of answer signals for internal function call in a module is configured at the terminating side.
clear-back time: Timeout time in milliseconds of R2 clear-back signal, in the range of 100 to 60000 with
a default of 10000. After the terminating side sends a clear-back signal, it should recognize the forward
signal sent back by the originating side within the timeout time.
clear-forward time: Timeout time in milliseconds of R2 clear-forward signal configured at the originating
side, in the range of 100 to 60000 with a default of 10000. After the originating side sends a
clear-forward signal, the terminating side should send back a corresponding line signal, clear-back or
release guard for example, within the timeout time.
seizure time : Timeout time in milliseconds of R2 seizure signal configured at the originating side, in the
range of 100 to 5000 with a default of 1000. After the originating side sends a seizure signal, the
terminating side should send back a seizure acknowledgement signal within the timeout time.
re-answer time: Timeout time in milliseconds of R2 re-answer signal configured at the originating side,
in the range of 100 to 60000 milliseconds with a default of 1000. The originating side releases the line
if it does not receive another answer signal from the terminating side after it recognizes the clear-back
signal.
release-guard time: Timeout time in milliseconds of R2 release guard signal configured at the originating
side, in the range of 100 to 60000 with a default of 10000. The originating side should send a release
guard signal within the timeout time after it receives a clear-back signal from the terminating side in
response to a clear-forward signal.
Examples
# Set the timeout time of R2 seizure signal to 300 milliseconds.

timer dtmf
NOTE:
This command applies to R2 signaling only.
Use timer dtmf to configure the delay from when the originating side receives a seizure
acknowledgement signal to when it starts sending DTMF signals.
Use undo timer dtmf to restore the default.
