Parameters
string: Area ID, a string of 1 to 31 characters excluding spaces. The characters can be digits 0 through
9, or the pound sign (#) which can be used as a delimiter in the string.
Usage guidelines
Each area ID identifies a particular type of gateway, for example, 1# for the voice gateway and 2# for
the video gateway, depending on the agreement that the gateway and the gatekeeper reaches
beforehand. When a gateway communicates with the gatekeeper, the gatekeeper uses the received
area ID to identify the type of the gateway.
You can assign up to 30 area IDs to the H.323 gateway.
Examples
# Assign area ID 6# to the gateway.
