R2511-HP MSR Router Series Voice Command Reference(V5)
57
Parameters
bandwidth-value: Expected bandwidth for the voice subscriber line, in the range of 1 to 4294967295
kbps.
Usage guidelines
Obtain the expected bandwidth of a voice subscriber line by querying the ifspeed value of the MIB node
with third-party software.
The expected bandwidth set by the bandwidth command is used by the network management systems
for monitoring bandwidth, but does not affect the actual bandwidth of the interface.
Examples
# Set the expected bandwidth for the voice subscriber line to 1000 kbps.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] subscriber-line 1/0
[Sysname-subscriber-line1/0] bandwidth 1000
busytone-t-th
Use busytone-t-th to configure the number of busy tone periods for detection.
Use undo busytone-t-th to restore the default.
Syntax
busytone-t-th time-threshold
undo busytone-t-th
Default
The number of busy tone periods for detection is 2.
Views
Analog FXO voice subscriber line view
Default command level
2: System level
Parameters
time-threshold: Number of busy tone periods for detection, in the range of 2 to 12. A bigger value means
a longer busy tone detection time.
Usage guidelines
The actual specifications of busy tones might differ from the configured parameters. If this is the case,
busy tones cannot be recognized, resulting in failed or false on-hook. To improve the accuracy of busy
tone detection, tune the busy tone detection period.
Increase the number of busy tone detection periods by using the busytone-t-th command to improve the
busy tone detection accuracy. This reduces the likelihood of false on-hook, but increases the likelihood of
failed on-hook.
Before you configure the number of busy tone detection periods, you must test the new value repeatedly
to make sure that the new value does not cause failed or false oh-hook.
Examples
# Set the number of busy tone periods to 3.
