Configuring gain adjustment function
To configure the gain adjustment function on a voice subscriber line:

3. Set the input gain on the voice
interface.
receive gain value
Optional.
The default is 0 dB.
4. Set the output gain on the
voice interface.
transmit gain value
Optional.
The default is 0 dB.
IMPORTANT:
Gain adjustment might lead to call failures. HP recommends not adjusting the gain. If necessary, make
sure you understand the impact of the adjustment on your call before you adjusting the gain.
Configuring time adjustment function

between off-hook and dialing

The default is 10 seconds.
5. Configure the maximum
duration of playing ringback
tones.

The default is 60 seconds.
6. Configure a dial delay.

The default is 1 second.
Applicable only in FXO/FXS voice
subscriber line view.
7. Configure the maximum
duration the system waits for a
digit.
