Parameters
line-number: E1 line number in the range of 1 to 16.
local: Enables internal loopback.
payload: Enables external payload loopback.
remote: Enables external loopback.
Usage guidelines
If an E1 line encapsulated with PPP is in loopback mode, the state of the link layer protocol is reported
as down.
Examples
# Set E1 line 1 on E3 2/4/0 in internal loopback mode.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] controller e3 2/4/0
[Sysname-E3 2/4/0] e1 1 loopback local
e1 shutdown
Use e1 shutdown to shut down an E1 line on a CE3 interface.
Use undo e1 shutdown to restore the default.
Syntax
e1 line-number shutdown
undo e1 line-number shutdown
Default
E1 lines are up.
