Interface dampening information:
• Dampening enabled—The dampening function is
enabled.
• Penalty—Penalty value. The interface suppression
state is displayed in parentheses.
{ Not suppressed—The interface is not
dampened. Interface state changes are
reported to higher layer protocols.
{ Suppressed—The interface is dampened.
Interface state changes are not reported to
higher layer protocols.
• Ceiling—Maximum penalty value.
• Reuse—Reuse threshold.
• Suppress—Suppression threshold.
• Half-life—Half-life timer.
• Max-suppress-time—Maximum suppression time.
• Flap count—Number of times that the interface has
flapped.
If interface dampening is disabled, the command does
not display these fields. For more information about
