Parameters
size: Specifies the maximum transmission unit (MTU) in the range of 128 to 2000 bytes.
Usage guidelines
The MTU setting can affect IP packet reassembly and fragmentation on the interface.
When you use the mtu command on an interface, execute the shutdown command, and then the undo
shutdown command to make your configuration take effect.
Examples
# Set the MTU of interface ATM 2/4/0 to 200 bytes.
