Login management commands
Some login management commands are available in both user line view and user line class view. This
chapter describes only the login management commands available in user line view.
If you configure a login management command in user line view, the configuration is applied only to the
specified user lines. If you configure a login management command in user line class view, the
configuration is applied to all user lines of the class. The configuration in user line view takes precedence
over the configuration in user line class view. If a parameter is not configured in user line view or user line
class view, the factory default setting is used.
Some login management commands are not supported in some user line views but can be configured in
the corresponding user line class views. However, the commands do not take effect.
The device supports the FIPS mode that complies with NIST FIPS 140-2 requirements. Support for features,
commands, and parameters might differ in FIPS mode and non-FIPS mode. For more information about
FIPS mode, see Security Configuration Guide.
