with the shutdown command.

• DOWN—The interface is physically shut down because no

physical link is present or the physical link has failed.

• UP—The interface is both administratively and physically up.

Bandwidth Intended bandwidth of the interface.

Maximum Transmit Unit Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) of the interface.

Hold timer Interval at which the interface sends keepalive packets.
