Host A and Host C are multicast receivers in two stub networks.
The SSM group range is 232.1.1.0/24.
IGMPv3 runs between Router A and N1 and between Router B, Router C, and N2.

Configuration procedure
1. Assign an IP address and subnet mask to each interface according to Figure 36. (Details not

2. Configure OSPF on the routers in the PIM-SSM domain to make sure they are interoperable at the
network layer. (Details not shown.)
3. Enable IP multicast routing, IGMP and PIM-SM:
