Configuring SPID parameters for static configuration
The SPID of the PBX is provided by a common carrier. You must configure the same SPID value for the B1
channel and B2 channel as that of the PBX.
When you configure this task, follow these guidelines:
• After you configure the local dialing number (LDN), the calling number configured in the isdn
calling command becomes invalid.
• You can execute this command only if no call exists on the BRI.
• You cannot execute this command during the SPID negotiation on the BRI.

You must perform this task to set the SPID processing mode to NIT on the device, when it communicates
with a PBX that runs the NI protocol but does not support the SPID negotiation.
