Parameters
number: Specifies the maximum number of ECMP routes. The range and default number vary by device
model.
Usage guidelines
The maximum number of ECMP routes configured using this command cannot be greater than the limit
configured using the max-ecmp-num command.

Parameters
net: Specifies a NET as a dotted hexadecimal string in the X…X.XXXX....XXXX.00 format. The X…X
segment represents the area address, the XXXX....XXXX segment represents the system ID, and the 00
segment is the SEL.
Usage guidelines
A NET is a special NSAP address with the SEL being 0. The length of the NET is in the range of 8 bytes
to 20 bytes.
A NET comprises the following parts:
• Area ID—With a length of 1 to 13 bytes.
