Parameters
interface interface-type interface-number: Displays relay entries on the specified interface.
ip ip-address: Displays the relay entry for the specified IP address.
vpn-instance vpn-instance-name: Displays the relay entry for the specified IP address in the specified
MPLS L3VPN instance. The vpn-instance-name is a case-sensitive string of 1 to 31 characters.
Usage guidelines
The DHCP relay agent records relay entries only when the dhcp relay client-information record
command has been issued.
Without any parameter, the display dhcp relay client-information command shows all relay entries on
the relay agent.
Examples
# Display all relay entries on the relay agent.

Field Description
Total number of client-information items Total number of relay entries.
Total number of dynamic items Total number of dynamic relay entries.
Total number of temporary items Total number of temporary relay entries.
IP address IP address of the DHCP client.
MAC address MAC address of the DHCP client.
Type
Relay entry type:
Dynamic—The relay agent creates a dynamic relay entry
upon receiving an ACK response from the DHCP server.
Temporary—The relay agent creates a temporary relay entry
upon receiving a REQUEST packet from a DHCP client.
Interface
Layer 3 interface connected to the DHCP client. N/A is displayed
for relay entries without interface information.
