Parameters
general: Uses the general compensation mode to reconstruct lost packets. This mode applies to discrete
packet loss.
specific: Uses the voice gateway-specific compensation mode to reconstruct lost packets. This mode
applies to continuous packet loss.
Examples
# Configure the general compensation mode to reconstruct lost packets.

receive gain
Use receive gain to set the input gain value.
Use undo receive gain to restore the default.
Syntax
receive gain value
undo receive gain
Default
The input gain value is 0 dB.

value: Specifies the input gain value in the range of –14.0 to +13.9 dB.
Usage guidelines
When the voice signals on the line attenuate, you can use this command to increase the input gain.
Gain adjustment might lead to call failures. If necessary, do it under the guidance of technical personnel.
Examples
# Set the input gain value to 3.5 dB on voice interface 1/0.
