User login procedure
To Telnet to a management device (for example Device C in Figure 31), a user must do the following:
1. Run a terminal emulation program on the PC and create a connection to Device C.
In the following example, the PC is running Windows XP and HyperTerminal.

2. Configure connection parameters:
a. Select TCP/IP (Winsock) for the connection.
b. Set the server IP address to 192.168.100.240.
c. Set the port number to the Telnet redirect listening port number (6067, in this example).
d. Click OK.
