Usage guidelines
In unframed mode, an E1-F interface is a 2048-kbps interface without timeslot division and has the same
logical features as a standard synchronous serial interface.
In framed mode, an E1-F interface is physically divided into 32 timeslots numbered 0 through 31, with
timeslot 0 for synchronization.
