sdvalue: Specifies an SD alarm threshold value in the format of 10e-sdvalue. The value range for this
argument is 3 to 9. The greater the value, the smaller the SD alarm threshold.
sf: Sets the SF alarm threshold. The SF alarm threshold must be higher than the SD alarm threshold.
sfvalue: Specifies an SF alarm threshold value in the format of 10e-sfvalue. The value range for this
argument is 3 to 9. The greater the value, the smaller the SF alarm threshold.
Usage guidelines
SD and SF alarms indicate current line performance. The device generates SD or SF alarms when it
detects a certain amount of B2 errors. SF alarms are more severe than SD alarms.
• When the number of B2 errors reaches the SD alarm threshold, the device generates an SD alarm.
• When the number of B2 errors increases to the SF alarm threshold, the device generates an SF
alarm.
