Usage guidelines
You can set the DR priority in PIM view or interface view. The configurations made in PIM view are
effective on all interfaces. The configurations made in interface view are effective on only the current
interface. If you set the DR priority in both PIM view and interface view, the configuration in interface view
always takes precedence.
Examples
# Set the DR priority to 3 on GigabitEthernet 2/1/1.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface gigabitethernet 2/1/1
[Sysname-GigabitEthernet2/1/1] pim hello-option dr-priority 3

pim hello-option holdtime
Use pim hello-option holdtime to set the PIM neighbor lifetime on an interface.
Use undo pim hello-option holdtime to restore the default.
Syntax
pim hello-option holdtime time
undo pim hello-option holdtime

The PIM neighbor lifetime is 105 seconds.

Parameters
time: Sets the PIM neighbor lifetime in the range of 1 to 65535 seconds. If you set the value to 65535,
the PIM neighbor is always reachable.
