Parameters
acl-number: Specifies an IPv4 basic or advanced ACL number in the range of 2000 to 3999. A basic
ACL filters multicast groups, and an advanced ACL filters multicast sources or multicast groups. If this
argument is not specified, no multicast source information is advertised.
Usage guidelines
During ACL matching, the protocol ID in the ACL rule is not verified.
This command controls the creation of SA messages. You can also use the peer sa-policy command to
configure a filtering rule to control forwarding and acceptance of SA messages.
Examples
# On the public network, configure the MSDP peer to advertise only the (S, G) entries (multicast sources
on the 10.10.0.0/16 subnet and the multicast group address of 225.1.0.0/16) when creating an SA
message.
