MLD snooping commands
The commands are supported on the following hardware:
MSR routers installed with the Layer 2 switching module SIC 4GSW, SIC 4GSWP, HMIM-24GSW,
HMIM-24GSWP, or HMIM-8GSW.
In this chapter, "MSR2000" refers to MSR2003. "MSR3000" collectively refers to MSR3012, MSR3024,
MSR3044, MSR3064. "MSR4000" collectively refers to MSR4060 and MSR4080.
display ipv6 l2-multicast ip
Use display ipv6 l2-multicast ip to display information about Layer 2 IPv6 multicast groups.
Syntax
MSR2000/MSR3000:
display ipv6 l2-multicast ip [ group ipv6-group-address | source ipv6-source-address ] * [ vlan vlan-id ]
MSR4000:
display ipv6 l2-multicast ip [ group ipv6-group-address | source ipv6-source-address ] * [ vlan vlan-id ]
[ slot slot-number ]

Parameters
group ipv6-group-address: Specifies an IPv6 multicast group by its IPv6 address. If you do not specify
any IPv6 multicast group, the command displays information about all Layer 2 IPv6 multicast groups.
source ipv6-source-address: Specifies an IPv6 multicast source by its IPv6 address. If you do not specify
any IPv6 multicast source, the command displays information about Layer 2 IPv6 multicast groups for all
IPv6 multicast sources.
vlan vlan-id: Specifies a VLAN by its VLAN ID in the range of 1 to 4094. If you do not specify any VLAN,
the command displays information about Layer 2 IPv6 multicast groups for all VLANs.
slot slot-number: Specifies a card by its slot number. If you do not specify any card, the command
displays information about the Layer 2 IP multicast groups on the MPU. (MSR4000)
Examples
# Display information about the Layer 2 IPv6 multicast groups for VLAN 2.
<Sysname> display ipv6 l2-multicast ip vlan 2
