vlan-interface-id: Specifies a VLAN interface number.
Usage guidelines
Use this command to clear the history statistics if you want to collect statistics within a period.
If the vlan-interface-id argument is not specified, this command clears statistics of all VLAN interfaces.
If the vlan-interface-id argument is specified, this command clears statistics of the specified VLAN
interface.
Examples
# Clear statistics on VLAN-interface 2.
<Sysname> reset counters interface vlan-interface 2

Usage guidelines
When a VLAN interface is not manually shut down, the following guidelines apply to the interface state:
• The VLAN interface is down if all ports in the VLAN are down.
• The VLAN interface is up if one or more ports in the VLAN are up.
A VLAN interface that was shut down with the shutdown command remains in DOWN (Administratively)
state until you bring it up. In this case, the VLAN interface state is not affected by the state of the ports in
the VLAN changes.
