On Layer 2 Ethernet interfaces, nearest bridge agents can advertise all types of LLDP TLVs except the
following:
• Location identification TLVs.
• Port and protocol VLAN ID TLVs.
• VLAN name TLVs.
• Management VLAN ID TLVs.
On Layer 3 Ethernet interfaces:
• Nearest bridge agents can advertise all types of LLDP TLVs (only link aggregation TLV in 802.1
organizationally specific TLVs) except network policy TLVs.
• Nearest non-TPMR bridge agents advertise no TLVs.
• Nearest customer bridge agents can advertise basic TLVs and IEEE 802.1 organizationally specific
TLVs (only link aggregation TLVs).
On Layer 3 aggregate interfaces:
• Nearest non-TPMR bridge agents advertise no TLVs.
• Nearest customer bridge agents can advertise only basic TLVs.

configures the types of advertisable TLVs for nearest bridge agents.
