Usage guidelines
When you shut down a Selected port in an aggregation group, this feature redirects traffic to other
Selected ports. Zero packet loss is guaranteed for known unicast traffic, but not for unknown unicast
traffic. (MSR2000/MSR3000)
When you restart a card that contains Selected ports, this feature redirects traffic to other cards. Zero
packet loss is guaranteed for known unicast traffic, but not for unknown unicast traffic. (MSR4000)
Link-aggregation traffic redirection applies only to dynamic link aggregation groups.
To prevent traffic interruption, enable link-aggregation traffic redirection on devices at both ends of the
aggregate link.
Do not enable both spanning tree and link-aggregation traffic redirection at the same time, because light
packet loss might occur when a card or the device reboots.
