Usage guidelines
Enable this feature both globally and on ports connected to other vendors' devices. To minimize impact,
enable the feature on all associated ports before you enable it globally.
Examples
# Enable Digest Snooping on GigabitEthernet 2/1/1 and then globally.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface gigabitethernet 2/1/1
[Sysname-GigabitEthernet2/1/1] stp config-digest-snooping
[Sysname-GigabitEthernet2/1/1] quit
[Sysname] stp global config-digest-snooping

Usage guidelines
When you enable the spanning tree feature, the device operates in STP, RSTP, PVST, or MSTP mode,
depending on the spanning tree mode setting.
When the spanning tree feature is enabled, the device dynamically maintains the spanning tree status of
VLANs based on received configuration BPDUs. When the spanning tree feature is disabled, the device
stops maintaining the spanning tree status.
