Parameters
autodial-interval: Specifies the interval between call attempts, in the range of 1 to 604800 seconds.
Usage guidelines
This command takes effect only when the autodial keyword is configured in the dialer number or dialer
route command. It allows DDR to automatically dial a dial string at the specified interval to set up a
connection. In the auto-dial method, dial attempts are not traffic triggered. Once a connection is set up,
it will not disconnect based on the idle timer mechanism.
Examples
# Set the auto-dial interval of DDR to 60 seconds on interface Serial 2/1/0.

Parameters
compete-idle: Specifies the idle time when contention occurs, in the range of 0 to 65535 seconds.
Usage guidelines
An idle-timeout timer starts upon setup of a link. If a call to another destination address is placed at the
same time, contention occurs. DDR starts a compete-idle timer to replace the idle-timeout timer for the link.
When the idle time of the link reaches the setting of this compete-idle timer, the link disconnects.
Examples
# Set the compete-idle timer to 10 seconds on interface Serial 2/1/0.
