Use service to specify a card to forward the traffic of VA interfaces on a VT interface.
Use undo service to restore the default.
Syntax

slot slot-number: Specifies a card by its slot number. (MSR4000.)
Usage guidelines
If you do not specify a card to forward the traffic of VA interfaces on a VT interface, the system
automatically chooses the MPU to forward the traffic. To reduce the load on the MPU, HP recommends
that you use this command to specify cards to forward traffic of VA interfaces.
If the specified card is removed, the traffic cannot be forwarded even if a VA interface is up. When the
card is reinstalled, traffic forwarding resumes on the card.
Examples

shutdown
Use shutdown to shut down an MP-group interface.
Use undo shutdown to bring up an MP-group interface.
