By sending hellos, RSVP cannot promptly detect neighbor status. By executing this command on an
interface, a BFD session is established to detect the link status to the RSVP neighbor on the interface.
When the neighbor fails, BFD can quickly detect the failure and notify RSVP of the failure so RSVP can
respond as configured, for example, performs an FRR
Examples
# Enable BFD to detect the link status to the RSVP neighbor on interface GigabitEthernet 2/1/1.

[Sysname] interface gigabitethernet 2/1/1
[Sysname-GigabitEthernet2/1/1] rsvp bfd enable
rsvp enable
Use rsvp enable to enable RSVP on an interface.
Use undo rsvp enable to disable RSVP on an interface.
Syntax
rsvp enable
undo rsvp enable
Default
RSVP is disabled on an interface.

Before you enable RSVP on an interface, you must first enable RSVP globally by using the rsvp command
in system view.
Examples

[Sysname] interface gigabitethernet 2/1/1
[Sysname-GigabitEthernet2/1/1] rsvp enable
