OAP module commands The commands in this chapter are supported only on HMIM-OAP modules. In this chapter, "MSR1000" refers to MSR1002-4. "MSR2000" refers to MSR2003, MSR2004-24, MSR2004-48. "MSR3000" collectively refers to MSR3012, MSR3024, MSR3044, MSR3064. "MSR4000" collectively refers to MSR4060 and MSR4080. oap connect Use oap connect to log in to the CLI of an OAP module from the device.
Syntax MSR3000: oap reboot system subslot-number MSR4000: oap reboot slot slot-number system subslot-number Views User view Predefined user roles network-admin Parameters slot slot-number: Specifies an OAP module by its slot number. (On an MSR3000.) slot slot-number system subslot-number: Specifies an OAP module by its slot number and subslot number. The slot-number argument must be 2. (On an MSR4000.) Examples # On an MSR3000, reboot the OAP module in subslot 5.
OAP commands display oap client info Use display oap client info to display OAP client information. Syntax display oap client info [ client-id ] Views Any view Predefined user roles network-admin network-operator Parameters client-id: Specifies an OAP client by its ID in the range of 1 to 255. If you do not specify this argument, the command displays information about all OAP clients in ascending order of client IDs.
Client ID: 2 CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.40GHz PCB Version: 3.00 CPLD Version: 1.00 Bootrom Version: 1.12 Storage Card: 256 MB Memory: 512 MB Harddisk: 40.0 GB Related commands display oap client summary display oap client summary Use display oap client summary to display the summary registration information of OAP clients.
Client ID: 2 Status: Registered MAC Address: 00e0-fa1e-03da Interface: GigabitEthernet1/0/2 Last registered: 02/08/2011 13:00:00 Table 1 Command output Field Description Status Status of the OAP client, which is always Registered. MAC Address MAC address of the OAP client. Interface Interface used to communicate with the OAP client. Last registered Registration time of the client. Related commands display oap client info oap client close Use oap client close to shut down an OAP client.
• oap client reboot oap client reboot Use oap client reboot to restart an OAP client. Syntax oap client reboot client-id Views System view Predefined user roles network-admin Parameters client-id: Specifies an OAP client by its ID in the range of 1 to 255. Usage guidelines Client IDs are assigned by the OAP manager to OAP clients to uniquely identify the clients. When you execute this command for a client in registered state, the OAP manager sends a restart notification to the specified OAP client.
Examples # Enable OAP on interface GigabitEthernet 1/0/1. system-view [Sysname] interface gigabitethernet 1/0/1 [Sysname-GigabitEthernet1/0/1] oap enable oap timer clock-sync Use oap timer clock-sync to set the clock synchronization timer. Use undo oap timer clock-sync to restore the default. Syntax oap timer clock-sync minutes undo oap timer clock-sync Default The clock synchronization timer is set to 5 minutes.
Views System view Predefined user roles network-admin Parameters seconds: Specifies the client monitoring timer in seconds, in the range of 0 to 10.
