Syntax reset system internal ipv6 route-direct { event | notify | nib } log Views Probe view Predefined user roles network-admin Parameters event: Clears interface event logs. notify: Clears interface event notification logs.
Predefined user roles network-admin Parameters slot slot-number: Specifies a card. The slot-number argument represents the number of the slot that holds the card. (MSR4000.) Related commands display system internal l2vpn l2vfib record reset system internal mac-address statistics Use reset system internal mac-address statistics to clear MAC address table statistics.
rcv received-id: Specifies the MBUF Relay receiver by its ID. If no MBUF Relay receiver is specified, the command clears MBUF Relay statistics for all the receivers on the CPU. reset system internal mpls lfib record Use reset system internal mpls lfib record to clear information recorded by the MPLS LFIB module.
Parameters vpn-instance vpn-instance-name: Specifies an MPLS L3VPN instance by its name, a case-sensitive string of 1 to 31 characters. If this option is not specified, this command removes the temporary multicast forwarding entries on the public network. source-address: Specifies a multicast source address. If this argument is not specified, this command removes the temporary multicast forwarding entries for all multicast sources. group-address: Specifies a multicast group address in the range of 224.0.0.
reset system internal ospf event-log Use reset system internal ospf event-log to clear OSPF logs. Syntax reset system internal ospf event-log { interface | nib | notify } Views Probe view Predefined user roles network-admin Parameters interface: Clears interface event logs. nib: Clears NIB logs. notify: Clears interface notification logs. reset system internal rib log Use reset system internal rib log to clear RIB logs.
reset system internal rib nib log [ standby slot slot-number ] Views Probe view Predefined user roles network-admin Parameters standby slot slot-number: Clears backup next hop logs for a card. Without this option, the command clears next hop logs. (MSR4000.) reset system internal rib summary Use reset system internal rib summary to clear RIB statistics.
reset system internal route-static nib log Use reset system internal route-static nib log to clear static route NIB logs. Syntax reset system internal route-static nib log Views Probe view Predefined user roles network-admin reset system internal sflow statistics Use reset system internal sflow statistics to clear the sFlow statistics.
S switch console Use switch console on an MSR4000 to change the operating mode of the MPU's console port. Syntax switch console { mpu | spu } Views Probe view Predefined user roles network-admin network-operator Parameters mpu: Uses the MPU's console port for the MPU. spu: Uses the MPU's console port for the SPU. Usage guidelines The MSR4000 SPU card does not have console ports. To test or debug an SPU card, you can configure the switch console spu command to use the MPU's console port.
Usage guidelines The specified file path cannot contain file links. A file link is similar to a file shortcut and points to a file or directory. You can access a file or directory through a file link.
vpm-mirror Use vpm-mirror to mirror the packets between a VPM card and CPU to a specified interface. Syntax vpm-mirror slot slot-num port port-num { all | command | data | stop } to if-name Views Probe view Predefined user roles network-admin network-operator Parameters slot-num: Specifies a VPM card. port-num: Specifies a VPM interface. all: Mirrors all packets between the VPM interface and CPU. command: Mirrors command packets between the VPM interface and CPU.

Conventions This section describes the conventions used in this documentation set. Command conventions Convention Description Boldface Bold text represents commands and keywords that you enter literally as shown. Italic Italic text represents arguments that you replace with actual values. [] Square brackets enclose syntax choices (keywords or arguments) that are optional. { x | y | ... } Braces enclose a set of required syntax choices separated by vertical bars, from which you select one.
Network topology icons Represents a generic network device, such as a router, switch, or firewall. Represents a routing-capable device, such as a router or Layer 3 switch. Represents a generic switch, such as a Layer 2 or Layer 3 switch, or a router that supports Layer 2 forwarding and other Layer 2 features.
