lip lip: Specifies a remote node by its ID in the range of 0 to 32767.
lipc ping
Use lipc ping to ping a node to examine whether the LIPC connection with the specified node is operating
correctly.
Syntax
lipc ping lip [ length len times number ]
Default
The device sends a ping packet with 100 bytes up to 10 times if it does not receive any reply.

lip: Specifies a node ID in the range of 0 to 32767.
length len: Specifies the length of the ping packet, in the range of 0 to 32767.
times number: Specifies the number of times for retransmitting the ping packet, in the range of 0 to
32767.
Usage guidelines
You can use the display system internal lipc topology link command to view the valid node IDs in the
system. When you specify the node ID in this command, make sure the ID is valid.
lipc timeout
Use lipc timeout to set the timeout time for LIPC topology links.
Syntax
lipc timeout time [ lip lip ]
Default
The setting is 60 seconds.
