3. If Persistent Disable is set to ON, enter the portCfgPersistentEnable command with the slot
number and GbE port number.

4. Enter the portCfgShow command with the slot number and GbE port number to verify that the
port is persistently enabled.
The Persistent Disable settings is set to OFF.
switch:admin> portcfgshow 10/ge0

Configuring the GbE interface
Configure the FC4-16IP GbE interface (TCP/IP) network settings and static IP routes. Use the
portCfg commands to perform the following tasks:
Assigning an IP address” on page 13
Adding static IP routes (optional)” on page 13
“Verifying the network connection” on page 14
Adding ARP entries (optional)” on page 14
NOTE
You can set the TCP/IP parameters of a GbE port even when iSCSI gateway service is disabled.
