NOTE Your PC may already be equipped with an integrated sound card, if so
this must be deactivated (refer to your PC user guide), before installing
this HP Multimedia Sound Kit.
WARNING For your safety, never remove the PC’s cover without first removing the
power cord from the power outlet and any connection to a
telecommunication network. Always replace the cover back before
switching on again. To avoid electric shock and harm to your eyes by laser
light, do not open the laser module. The laser module should be serviced by
service personnel only. Do not attempt to make any adjustment to the laser
unit. Refer to the label on the CD-ROM for power requirements and
wavelength. This product is a class 1 laser product.

This manual describes how to install the Multimedia Sound Kit and its
setup procedure for the following operating systems supported by HP:
