All parameters set in this menu operate as global standard for all ICA-sessions, which are immediately set
up.
Enable Windows Alert Sounds
Enables or disables alert sounds in case of warnings of Windows or
Windows applications within remote sessions.
ICA-Acceleration Activates or deactivates the ICA acceleration for the THINTUNE.
Allow backing store If the option backing store is activated, the cache of the X-server can
be used by the ICA client in order to ameliorate performance
drastically.
Use server redraw Server redraw is also a function of the x-server which uses the
intelligence of the x-server in order to draw bitmaps (for instance when
moving windows) without slowing down the NT server or the network.
Disable info box
before connecting Diables or enables start-up message (Connecting to......)
Use asynchronous COM Switches the COM-port to asynchronous communication
port polling
Allow smart card logon This option is to be selected if you want smart card logon capabilities
which are provided by Citrix.
5.2.1.1 Drive Mapping Tab
Map local floppy on drive Determines the drive letter for the internal floppy drive which is
assigned to the drive available in an ICA session. This option is
supported only if an internal floppy drive is available with THINTUNE
Map USB flash reader on drive
Determines the drive letter for the external USB CD-ROM drive which is
assigned to the drive available in an ICA session. This option is
supported only if an external USB CD-ROM is available with
THINTUNE.
