Fiber    Select this adapter if you operate a fiber optic adapter with THINTUNE. 
THINTUNE currently supports model 2700FX and 2700 FTX from Allied 
Telesyn regardless if you connect them with a ST-, or a SC-connector. 
The FTX-adapter can either be connected to a TP-connector, as well to 
a Fiber port. You do so by selecting the “Force alternate port-“ option. 
7.6.2 DialUp Connections 
You might operate THINTUNE with even an ISDN-adapter or a modem. THINTUNE lets you configure multiple 
connectivity modes from which you can choose when you are setting up a client session. 
 7.6.2.1 General tab 
Label    Defines the name of the connection 
Connect Using    Lets you select the mode of connection; either modem or ISDN. 
 Modem
    This adapter is to be chosen if you work with an analogue modem 
which is serially connected to the THINTUNE. At the moment only 
external serial modems (Hayes-compatible) are supported. With the 
configure-option you might enter COM-port and baud rate. THINTUNE 
allows you to also define init strings for your modem. 
 ISDN
    This adapter is to be chosen if you work with an ISDN card in 
THINTUNE! Currently THINTUNE supports either the AVM Fritz!-card 
(PCI, Version 1), or the ISDN adapter from Sedlbauer. With the 
configure-button you select which adapter is operated in THINTUNE. 
The configure-option also lets you select which Channel Protocol you 
are driving, either Euro-ISDN, or 1TR6 which especially is used for 
some older telephone systems. Further you have to enter the MSN to
