HP NetRAID-4M Configuration and Upgrade Guide (Release 5)

HP NetRAID-4M supports the following operating systems:

• Windows NT 4.0 with SP6a

• Windows NT 4.0 Clustering

• Windows 2000

• Windows 2000 Clustering

• Linux (Please see HP web site for specific distributions and versions)

• NetWare 5.1 with SP2

• NetWare 6

• Caldera UnixWare 7.1.1

• SCO OpenServer 5.0.6

NetWare 5.X and 6.X

HP Servers running NetWare 5.X and 6.X can support no more than four HP

NetRAID-4M controllers. Since NetWare 5.X and 6.X must reside above

conventional memory, it registers it's hardware information using memory in that

area (below 1MB). Because there is only so much conventional memory, several

cards can use up all that memory—limiting the number of adapters that can

physically be supported by NetWare.

The HP NetRAID-4M supports the following versions of UnixWare 7.1.1:
