Chapter 4 NetRAID-4M Software

Using the HP NetRAID-4M FAST utility, do the following:

1. Select Controller view from the View menu.

2. Select the controller.

3. Select Properties from the Edit menu.

The Controller Properties dialog box will appear. The left-most column

of Table 4-1 shows the software items that may need to be updated. The

right-most column shows the correct build number for that component.

Using the CLI Utility With All Operating Systems

The installed build number of each of the NetRAID-4M components can be reported

using the Command Line Interface (CLI) Utility with any supported operating

system. Run the CLI utility and do the following:

1. Open the NetRAID-4M controller. To open NetRAID-4M, number x, installed

in the local system, issue this command:

open HPNx.

To open NetRAID-4M, number x, installed in a remote system, issue this

command:

open \\nodename\HPNx
