1. Use Slots 5-6 because they are 64 bit slots. Slots 1-4 are 32 bit slots, and slots 3-
4 have insufficient airflow.
2. Use Slots 7-8 because they are 64 bit slots. Slots 1-6 are 32 bit slots.
3. Use Slots 1-6 because they are 64 bit slots. Slots 7-8 are 32 bit slots.
4. Use Slots 7-8 because they are 64 bit slots. Slots 1-6 are 32 bit slots.
5. Use Slots 1-8.
6. Use Slot 3 (the top slot) because Slots 1-2 do not get a PCI reset during a warm
reboot.
7. Use Slots 1-2 (the top or middle slot) because the bottom slot is too small.
8. Use Slots 3-5 because Slot 1 (the bottom slot) uses a special tray that is
mechanically incompatible with the HP NetRAID-4M, and Slots 2 and 6 have
space limitations.
