Could Not Configure the i960 I/O Processor's PCI Subsystem IDs
NOTE This error message only occurs in HP NetServer
LH 3000/3000r, LH 6000/6000r, and LT 6000r.
Problem: Error message, "could not configure the i960 I/O processor's PCI
subsystem IDs." The HP NetRAID DIMM may not be fully seated, or the
integrated HP NetRAID firmware is corrupt.
Suggested solution: Ensure that the HP NetRAID DIMM on the I/O board is
seated correctly. If that does not solve the problem, see the "Firmware Is Not
Valid!" problem below.
Firmware Is Not Valid!
NOTE This error message only occurs in HP NetServer
LH 3000/3000r, LH 6000/6000r, and LT 6000r.
Problem: Error message, "Firmware is not valid! See readme on 'Integrated
HP NetRAID Firmware Update" diskette..." The integrated HP NetRAID
firmware is corrupt.
Suggested solution: See the Readme file on the "Integrated HP NetRAID
Firmware Update" diskette in the diskette library on the HP NetServer Navigator
CD-ROM. Press any key to continue.
Firmware Continues to Initialize
Problem: "Firmware Initializing..." appears and remains on the screen.
Suggested solution:
For HP NetServer LH 3/3r and LH 4/4r, be sure that the memory modules are
rated as 50 ns.
For HP NetServer LH 3000/3000r, LH 6000/6000r, and LT 6000r, replace the
HP NetRAID DIMM on the I/O board.
