IOPn.Ethernetx Show Port Counters
This command displays the Ethernet Provider counters for the specified Ethernet adapter.

Variables
n – the ID number of the IOP (1 or 2)
x – the ID number of the Ethernet adapter

Va l ue Meaning
Ethernet Packets Transmitted Number of Ethernet packets transmitted on behalf of the network software
running on the CEs
Ethernet Packets Received Number of Ethernet packets received and forwarded to the networking
software executing on the CEs
Runt Packets Received Number of runt Ethernet packets received. Runt packets are packets with
an Ethernet header that is less than 14 bytes.
Invalid Packets Received Number of invalid Ethernet packets received. Invalid packets are packets
with data length greater than 1500 bytes.
