Making an MTC Diskette
Some tools require an MTC diskette. You can create this diskette at any computer that contains
a floppy drive and CD-ROM drive. To create an MTC diskette:
MTCLOG Utility
The MTCLOG Utility is an application that displays server events as they are being logged. This
utility is useful when you are actively monitoring a server.
To start MTCLOG, either:
Select the Endurance Manager Tools Endurance Event Utility.
(Local only) On an IOP or CE, open either the Endurance Console window or an
MS-DOS window and type
mtclog at the prompt.
Step Action Notes
1 From any computer, insert an MS-DOS bootable
diskette in the floppy drive.
2 Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive.
3 Copy contents of the \MTCUTILS directory onto
the diskette.
You can use Windows NT Explorer or an
equivalent file management tool.
The \MTCUTILS directory is located on the
CD-ROM drive.
4 Label the diskette with the revision number that is
stamped on the CD.
