Fault Management
Because the server is fault tolerant, when a fault occurs (for example, a failed network adapter),
the server continues operating. Even though it is still operational, any failure to the faulted
components redundant counterpart can affect the availability of the server.
To return the server to a fully fault tolerant state, you may need to complete some fault
management procedures. Fault management involves several steps. The actions taken depend
on the type of fault. In general, the process includes:
Diagnosing Faults
Isolating Faults
Correcting Faults
