Updating an Ethernet Driver
On an IOP, after you update the third-party Ethernet driver for a redirected Ethernet adapter and
before you restart Windows NT, you must recommit the configuration, using the Endurance
Configuration Utility. The Endurance Configuration Utility writes the Network Address
Registry value under the Services key for the Ethernet adapter. To accomplish this:

Open the Endurance Configuration Utility

Be sure this is on the IOP where you updated the
driver.
2 Double-click on the Ethernet adapter that
you updated.
This displays the Properties for the adapter.
3 Select OK.
4 Select Commit.
5 Respond to all prompts so that the Commit
is applied.
6 Following the procedure described in
Rebooting an IOP, reboot the IOP.
This causes the new driver to take effect.
