IOPn.MtcDsl Status Messages
IOPn.MtcDsl status: A packet with an invalid transport command was received (offendingValue).
Severity Error
Description Data traffic between IOPs and CEs is in packet format. A packet was received with an invalid
transport command code.
Hardware/Software This message indicates an internal HP NetServer AA server software error or an intermittent
IOP hardware failure.
Action Reboot the IOP and allow it to rejoin the HP NetServer AA server. Refer to Chapter 9 in
HP NetServer AA Solution Administrators Guide for information about how to reboot an
IOP.
Verify whether the IOP is experiencing intermittent hardware failures, and correct any
failures.
IOPn.MtcDsl status: A provider has an invalid Registry entry (provName).
Severity Error
Description The Windows NT Registry information for a specific provider is invalid.
Hardware/Software The Windows NT Registry information is corrupt or improperly configured.
Action Reconfigure both IOPs using the HP NetServer AA Configuration Utility for the specified
provider only.
IOPn.MtcDsl status: A provider has attempted to register more than once (provName).
Severity Error
Description A provider attempted to register more than once with the Device Synchronization Layer.
Action Contact your service provider for assistance.
