IOPn.MtcDsl Status Messages
IOPn.MtcDsl status: A packet with an invalid transport command was received (offendingValue).
Severity Error
Description Data traffic between IOPs and CEs is in packet format. A packet was received with an invalid
transport command code.
Hardware/Software This message indicates an internal HP NetServer AA server software error or an intermittent
IOP hardware failure.
Action • Reboot the IOP and allow it to rejoin the HP NetServer AA server. Refer to Chapter 9 in
HP NetServer AA Solution Administrator’s Guide for information about how to reboot an
IOP.
• Verify whether the IOP is experiencing intermittent hardware failures, and correct any
failures.
IOPn.MtcDsl status: A provider has an invalid Registry entry (provName).
Severity Error
Description The Windows NT Registry information for a specific provider is invalid.
Hardware/Software The Windows NT Registry information is corrupt or improperly configured.
Action Reconfigure both IOPs using the HP NetServer AA Configuration Utility for the specified
provider only.
IOPn.MtcDsl status: A provider has attempted to register more than once (provName).
Severity Error
Description A provider attempted to register more than once with the Device Synchronization Layer.
Action Contact your service provider for assistance.
