IOPn.MtcDsl status: A request for provider provName used an invalid physical device ID.
Severity Error
Description Providers receive and process device requests. A physical device ID indicates the destination
physical device for a particular request. If a request is received with an invalid device ID, an
internal software error is indicated.
Related Messages
IOPn.MtcDsl status: A request for provider provName used an invalid
logical device ID.
IOPn.MtcDsl status: A request contained an invalid provider ID
(offendingValue).
Hardware/Software This message indicates an error in either a third-party application or an HP NetServer AA
server software error.
Action If a third-party application is causing the condition, discontinue use of the application.
Otherwise, contact your service provider for assistance.
IOPn.MtcDsl status: A tack timeout condition was not cleared properly.
Severity Error
Description The Device Synchronization Layer encountered an internal error.
Hardware/Software This message indicates an internal HP NetServer AA server software error.
Action Reboot the IOP and allow it to join the HP NetServer AA server. (Refer to Chapter 9 in HP
NetServer AA Solution Administrators Guide for information about how to reboot an IOP.)
Then, contact your service provider for assistance.
IOPn.MtcDsl status: A tacked flush packet has an unknown flush type (offendingValue).
Severity Error
Hardware/Software The Device Synchronization Layer encountered an invalid flush type.
Hardware/Software This message indicates an HP NetServer AA server software error or an intermittent IOP
hardware failure.
Action Reboot the IOP and allow it to rejoin the HP NetServer AA server. Refer to Chapter 9 in HP
NetServer AA Solution Administrators Guide for information about how to reboot an IOP.
