IOPn.MtcDsl status: An invalid DSL packet ID was encountered (offendingValue).
Severity Error
Description This message is generated when an unknown packet ID is encountered. Data traffic between
IOPs and CEs is in packet format. A packet descriptor goes through multiple levels of checking
while in transit between HP NetServer AA server elements. A packet descriptor was corrupted
after it was received by a particular IOP.
Hardware/Software This message indicates an HP NetServer AA server software error or an intermittent IOP
hardware failure.
Action • Reboot the IOP and allow it to rejoin the HP NetServer AA server. Refer to Chapter 9
in
HP NetServer AA Solution Administrator’s Guide for information about how to reboot an
IOP.
• Verify whether the IOP is experiencing intermittent hardware failures and correct any
failures.
IOPn.MtcDsl status: An invalid IOP state was encountered (offendingValue).
Severity Error
Description The Device Synchronization Layer encountered an invalid IOP state.
Hardware/Software This message usually indicates an inconsistency within the HP NetServer AA server software.
Additionally, it could indicate intermittent hardware failures on the IOP.
Action • Reboot the IOP and allow it to rejoin the HP NetServer AA server. Refer to Chapter 9
in
HP NetServer AA Solution Administrator’s Guide for information about how to reboot an
IOP.
