IOPn.MtcDsl status: Unable to allocate a callback descriptor.
Severity Error
Description The Device Synchronization Layer was unable to allocate memory. This message indicates an
operating system resource condition usually related to insufficient memory in the reporting
IOP.

IOPn.MtcDsl status: Unable to allocate callback worker thread.
IOPn.MtcDsl status: Unable to initialize DSL.
Hardware/Software This message indicates an operating system resource condition caused by insufficient IOP
memory.
Action • Add more memory to the reporting IOP.
• If there is sufficient memory in the IOP, contact your service provider for assistance.
IOPn.MtcDsl status: Unable to allocate a callback worker thread.

Action If you receive this message, contact your service provider. The IOP encountering this message
can be rebooted and brought back into the HP NetServer AA server. Refer to Chapter 9 in HP
NetServer AA Solution Administrator’s Guide for information about how to reboot an IOP.
