IOPn.MtcEthP status: Error in Ethernet Provider device configuration.
Severity Error
Description This message is logged during Ethernet Provider initialization if an error is detected in the
Ethernet device configuration.
Action • Run the HP NetServer AA Configuration Utility and correct the configuration for the
adapter. There may be an error in the Ethernet adapter address specified for the logical
device.
• Using the Network Control Panel application, make sure that the adapter bindings are set
correctly. Bind the MtcEthP driver to the adapter that provides connectivity to the local
area network.
• Make sure that NetworkAddress is correctly defined in the Registry. The NetworkAddress
value is defined under the subkey for the adapter
(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\
Services\adapter name#\Parameters).
• Make sure that you are using a NIC that supports software settable MAC addresses.
