IOPn.MtcEthP status: Ethernet Co-Provider protocol version mismatch.
Severity Error
Description This message is logged during IOP joining, when the joining Ethernet Provider receives a join
response from the merging Ethernet Provider. Incompatible versions of the Ethernet Provider
software are running on the IOPs. The joining IOP is not allowed to join the HP NetServer AA
server.
Action • Use the HP NetServer AA Manager to obtain the revision information for MtcEthP on
both IOPs.
• If reported following a software upgrade, reapply the upgrade to both IOPs.
• Contact your service provider for assistance.
IOPn.MtcEthP status: Ethernet Redirector-Provider protocol version mismatch.
Severity Error
Description This message is logged during CE boot, when the Ethernet Redirector notifies the Ethernet
Provider that it is initializing. Incompatible versions of the Ethernet Redirector and Provider
software are running on the CE and IOPs.
Action • Use the HP NetServer AA Manager to obtain the revision information for MtcEthP on
both IOPs and MtcEthR on the CE.
• If reported following a software upgrade, reapply the upgrade to the CE and IOPs.
• Contact your service provider for assistance.
